Three and half weeks after Alicia Silver nearly slaughtered her mother and Candy, the DA had indited Alicia and her father, Reggie, on multiple charges each. Also, even though Alicia was only seventeen, she was to be tried as an adult due to the magnitude of her crimes. Most of Shadow Falls had shown up for the trials. For both cases, DA Cora Pryde would be the prosecutor. Alicia's attorney was a young, attractive Puerto Rican named Rafael Cruz. Reggie's solicitor was Andrew Dye. Everyone involved, from the jury to those who'd give testimony, had undergone a brief psychological examination by the court psychologist Monica Romney. Shadow Falls had added the psychological assessment to ensure minors understood what was expected and their rights. The jury members selected also had to undergo it to ensure they could deliberate lawfully and unbiasedly and understood what was expected of them.
